Terms and Conditions

A booking form must be filled out and returned to place your order. A booking will only be confirmed and the date of your event reserved once we have received the completed booking form and relevant deposit.

We require a 10% non-returnable deposit to secure your booking. This will come off your remaining balance. 50% of the balance is due 6 weeks prior to your booking date and the remaining balance is to be paid 1 week before your event.

All breakages or loss must be paid for by the hirer and not the venue. A £50 deposit will be requested with your final balance payment to cover any breakages, loss or damage to the cart by any person other than our staff. This will be refunded within 1 week after your event assuming nothing is damaged or missing. Any loss or damage incurred, over and above the breakage cost will be charged accordingly.

Event photographs taken by staff of Sweetalicious are to be used for promotional purposes only.

The Candy cart will be assembled by Sweetalicious staff only. For DIY cart hire, please do not use drawing pins or any type of tape on the cart, we only accept blue or white tack. For popcorn and candyfloss hire, both these machines must be operated by a member of Sweetalicious staff. These machines get very hot, so under no circumstances must small children be allowed to touch them.

We accept payment by cash, bank transfer, bank giro or cheque. Cheques must be made payable to Sweetalicious.

We reserve the right to update our prices, including increases, at any time. We will take all responsible measures to contact you of any price increase whilst we are processing your order. However, we will not increase your price once your order has been confirmed and the booking has been placed.

If a cancellation occurs 6 weeks prior to your event, the 50% balance payment is non-refundable. Cancelling within the last week prior to your event, then the full balance is non-refundable. In the unlikely event the booking is cancelled by Sweetalicious, any payment received will be fully refunded.

Please note that some of the sweets may contain traces of nuts, nut oil or may have been alongside products containing nuts. Any other food allergies must be mentioned for us to check. Sweetalicious cannot be held responsible for any issues resulting from food allergies. A responsible adult should also ensure that children are supervised to avoid sweets being chosen which pose a choking risk. This is even more important for children under 5 years.

Delivery and pick up to venues within a 20 mile radius of Saddleworth (OL3) are included in the cost of hire. Outside of this radius there is a charge of 50p per mile for cover of petrol and additional travel time.
